A bottle of Graham’s Late Bottled Vintage Port from the excellent 2014 vintage. Displaying the house style of concentrated fruit with added spiciness, but intended to be approachable at a younger age than it’s vintage counterpart.

A softly rich, beautifully defined LBV from Graham’s. Made with some of the finest fruit, though aged in barrel a few more years than the ‘vintage’ bottling, the LBV has succulent depth and dimension with – thanks to the oxidation in oak – softer and more rounded flavors. Thus released earlier than the vintage but much more ready-to-drink, this poised yet immensely satisfying Port is full of pleasure and pedigree.
Nose: Warm fruitcake notes.
Palate: Full-bodied,Mouthwatering dark chocolate on the palate.
Finish: Long lingering finish.
W & J Graham’s magnificent 1890 Lodge is situated on a commanding ridge in Vila Nova de Gaia across the Douro River from Porto and only a few hundred metres from the river’s south bank.
