A 1994 vintage whisky from Caol Ila on the isle of Islay, bottled by Gordon & Macphail. They’ve done a bit of a twist on most bottlings of Caol Ila by not only finishing the whisky, but doing so in a Sassicaia ‘Super Tuscan’ red wine cask – expect lots of mulled red fruity notes.
Nose: Delightful aroma.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.
Finish: The finish is unique and complex.
