Independently bottled by Signatory, this single malt from Glenlossie was originally released exclusively for French retailer La Maison du Whisky. Distilled in 2012, the whisky matured in a single cask before it was bottled in 2023 at a robust 63.5% ABV.
Nose Great elegance and charm on the nose.
Palate A very pleasant, rich and smooth taste in the mouth. Lovely texture.
Finish Quite delicate and smooth texture on the long finish.
Constructed in 1876 by John Duff [see Longmorn, Benriach] Alexander Allen, H.M.S. Mackay (a man, not a ship) and the owner of Tobermory, London blender John Hopkins, Glenlossie ran independently until 1919 when it became part of DCL. In 1930, it joined that firm’s Haig stable.
