A Champagne Cuvée Réserve from Gallimard Pére et Fils, based in the Aube region. The Champagne is produced in the Les Riceys town, famous for its Pinot Noirs, which is handy because this Blanc de Noirs is made from Pinot Noir grapes! Perfect as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to seafood dishes.
Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
