Frapin Cuvée 1888 is a limited edition of 1888 bottles which has been created in honour of Pierre Frapin. It was Pierre Frapin who selected the cuvée which would win a Gold Medal at the 1888 Paris World Fair nd which was the start of Frapin’s worldwide succes. Presented in a crystal decanter, covered with gold treat and a 24-carat stopper, packed in a tailor-made wooden box this is a stunning set for connoisseurs and collectors alike.

Detailed Description

Frapin Cuvée 1888 honours company founder Piere Frapin, who in 1888 selected the cuvee that won a Gold Medal at the World Fair in Paris. Some of the cognacs used in the assemblage pre-date 1888, and a high proportion of the little-seen Folle Blanche grape is used. Presented in a crystal decanter with a spiral of gold thread and a 24-carat gold stopper, plus a gilded fob watch containing a block of Pierre Frapin perfume.

Nose: Summer flowers and notes of freshly cut grass, jasmine and orange blossom aromas.

Palate: Notes of smoke from the oak barrels.

Finish: Gentle spices and a persistent finish.
