An XO Cognac from François Voyer, in the Grande Champagne region. To create their expressions, François Voyer use Ugni Blanc grapes which are initially aged in Limousine casks after distillation before being aged further in older casks for the desired flavour profile. Plenty of rancio, spice, dried fruit and oak throughout.
Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: The palate is an explosion of flavors and the finish is nice.
Finish: Rich and smooth.
