Detailed Description

Elyx is distilled in a vintage copper column still from 1921. The still, operated by a select few, who have inherited their knowledge and expertise from past generations of Swedish vodka makers, is made entirely from copper. The copper surfaces – inside the columns themselves, the pumps and even the hand-forged pipes – have a catalytic effect on some of the trace compounds in the spirit. Which, again, enables the crafting of a naturally smooth vodka with real character. It’s this unique copper catalyzation process that contributes to the celebrated rich silky mouthfeel and exceptionally smooth finish of Elyx.

Elyx Copper Pineapple Gift Box Vodka Tasting Notes

Nose: Clean, rich, rounded, fresh bread and notes of white chocolate and light cereal and with a deep mellow spice.

Palate: Full bodied, luscious silky mouthfeel with waves of rich macadamia nuts, creamed cereal and garnishes of white chocolate and buttery notes of freshly baked bread. Light fresh nuttiness with a well-balanced hint of mellow spice and pure balanced richness.

Finish: Rounded mellow spice with fresh nuttiness and a well-balanced warm smooth finish.

Distillery Information

Absolut is produced in Åhus, L.O. Smith’s birth town. Also the place where the wheat used for making the vodka is grown. And since the way Absolut is made won’t change, neither will the true taste of vodka.
