This agave spirit from the El Destilado range is similar in style to pechuga, where its redistilled with a chicken breast hung up in the still, along with a selection of fruits and spices. Where this one differs is that instead of chicken, it’s a leg of lamb which is hung in the still. Intriguing stuff as ever from El Destilado.
Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
