A stunning sugar cane spirit from the folks over at El Destilado. Each bottling comes from a small independent Mexican producer, and this Aguardiente de Panela is from Delfino Cruz of Puebla. The spirit is fermented in pine tanks with local spring water.
Nose: Full-bodied aroma.
Palate: Incredibly smooth with similar flavours to a rhum agricole, both sweet and green earthy vegetal notes.
Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
