A wonderfully indulgent Manhattan cocktail, bottled up and ready for you to enjoy! Built upon a base of 10 year old Italian brandy from Villa Zarri, combined with its delicious cherry brandy, vermouth, and bitters – the only work you need to do is stir with ice until it’s nice and chilled.
Nose: Warming fruit cake spice, herbal bark, and soaked dried fruits.
Palate: A good dose of rich, dark cherries and boozy syrup.
Finish: Quite delicate and smooth texture on the long finish.
Villa Zarri dates back to 1578 as shown by a drawing of the time (Gozzadini Manuscript) which shows it, albeit with a square plan, placed next to the church of S. Apollinare with the inscription: “Del Signor Marc’Antonio Angelelli”.The Villa Zarri Italian Brandy was born after a long and scrupulous practical experimentation accompanied by careful scientific research aimed at obtaining the best aged Italian wine distillate.
