The maguey used in this mezcal is cooked in an underground pit oven, milled by tahona, and double distilled in a copper still. Expect notes of Granny Smith apple, brown sugar, ash and charcoal.

Valentín Cortes is eldest son of Don José, and along with his brothers they represents the fifth generation of Cortés family mezcaleros.
