They captured and recreated the moment we bite into our favorite cupcakes- Vanilla and Frosting, Devil’s Food, and Lemon Chiffon- with no artificial flavors, ingredients or sweeteners and that velvet silkiness, distinctive texture and smooth finish we love in Vodka.
Cupcake Chiffon Vodka Tasting Notes
Nose: Nose are very bright and compelling.
Palate: The mouth retains the clean, gentle, mineral flavors of Cupcake Original Vodka.
Finish: Finish is lingering with fresh lemon pie filling topped with lemon zest.
Distillery Information
Cupcake vodkas are made in collaboration with Cupcake Vineyards and Master Sommelier Doug Frost, which is winery in Monterey County, California and the vodkas are intended to capture “the personality of Cupcake wines.” It is a corn-based vodka made with 100% American-grown grain. It is then blended down with water from the Sierra Nevada Mountains–which they regard as adding necessary mineral content to the flavor of the vodka–and then given a traditional charcoal filtration. Cupcake Ginger Snap flavored vodka is the fourth flavor from the line released in 2011.
