Creyente Mezcal is made with a blend of two top-notch Mezcals from Tlacolula and Yautepec, both of which are in Oaxaca. The frankly awesome animal you see on the label is a metaphor for the spirit – the jaguar represents its full body, the antelope legs represent the light, sweeter elements while the smokey notes are represented by the golden eagle wings.
Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.
Finish: Long, delicate and complex.
