The Cotswolds Founder’s Choice spent its time maturing in American oak red wine casks that were shaved, toasted and re-charred, following a process that was created by Dr. Jim Swan. Following maturation, this tasty treat gets bottled up at cask strength, letting all those malty, fruity, toasty flavours sing.
Nose: Full-bodied aroma.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
