The entry level expression from Comte de Lauvia’s Armagnac range – their Comte de Lauvia Fine is a blend of young eaux-de-vie made with ugni blanc, baco blanc and folle blanche grapes, matured initially in new local oak casks before being moved to older casks to complete their maturation. Fine is made up eaux-de-vie aged around 4-7 years.

Distillery Information
Armagnac Comte De Lauvia is produced at Chateau de Champagne D’Armagnac, in the heart of the Gascony region of France. The castle’s 200 acres of vineyards are planted with Ugni Blanc and Folle Blanche grapes, the two grapes best suited to the production of Armagnac. The Armagnac is aged and matured in an expansive cellar known as ‘The Cathedral’ stocked with 1800 casks of black oak from the local forests. The master blender chooses from different casks a blend of perfect harmony for each age of Armagnac.
