Founded in 1891 by a young pastry chef named Giulio, Cocchi is now a leading producer of Italian sparkling wines and wine-based spirits, including the Grappa Dorée. Made from selected Moscato d’Asti pomace, this distinct grappa is aged for a minimum of 3 years in oak barrels, resulting in a bold, full-bodied digestif.

Cocchi was born as a family business and it is a family business still today. Giulio was assisted by his wife Giuseppina, who used to work actively with him in the Distillery and then by his 7 children. Giulio was then followed by his son Federico, author of Cocchi’s international success.
