Distillery Information
Maison Ferrand is the brainchild of Cognac luminary Alexandre Gabriel, and one of the oldest wine growing families in the Cognac region. Gabriel’s vision was to reinvigorate the industry by time-honored artisanal methods, bringing cognac back to its roots, offering an authentic expression of Cognac’s finest region— Grande Champagne. Authenticity and character are the cornerstone values of the cognac house. The meticulous habitude of Alexandre Gabriel and his advocacy of centuries-old methods challenge modern conventions of mass production. The Maison Ferrand facility is nestled amongst the vineyards of Charente, in the 18th century Château de Bonbonnet in Ars, once owned by the Martell family, a revamp including a blending hall in 2004.
