A dense and layered nose showing dark chocolate, toasted oak, coconut, baked nectarines, apricot jam with raisins, vanilla blossoms, white alpine flowers, and clove. The palate is a textural delight, showing golden raisins, honey-drizzled apples, juicy white peach and apricot balanced with dark, dried fruits, French oak spice, black pepper and subtle anise. The finish is long and elegant with dark chocolates, stone fruit and grape persisting after wave of baking spice and oak subsides. An exceptional Cognac that handily outperforms brandies twice its price.
