A Portuguese white Port from Churchill’s (nothing to do with that Prime Minister chap). It’s made from a blend of Malvasia Fina, Rabigato, Carga and Viosinho grapes from old vineyards at higher altitudes in the Douro region of Cima Corgo, and then aged in oak casks for 10 years. Great as an aperitif, or also with a splash of tonic and a slice of lemon.
Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.
Finish: Clean,crisp and smooth.
