Detailed Description
Bitter-sweet blend of Chase Vodka with thick cut marmalade and Seville and Valencia orange peels aged in oak barrels for 6 months. A brilliant fruit vodka made with Seville Orange Marmalade. This is just fabulous stuff from Chase, and it works beautifully in cocktails.
Chase Aged Marmalade Vodka Tasting Notes
Nose: Pungent, superbly clean orange zest with faint warm current buns. More jammy when compared to the original first batch but still with good zestyness.
Palate: Slight honeyed sweetness, rich orange zest and bitter marmalade with cracked black pepper spirity notes. When compared to their original first batch sample Chase Marmalade seems more integrated and arguably balanced but with less zestyness.
Finish: Lingering bitter orange zest and cracked black pepper. A slight sweetness amplifies the orange flavour.
