Cléo Blanc de Blancs is made without Malolactique fermentation in order to keep the freshness and complexity of aromas. This champagne is vinified at 50% in Burgundy barrel of 228L and in muids of 350L (no new barrel).
Producer Information
A Champagne House strength comes from its capacity of procurement and quality control over its raw material. The house Esterlin is covering 116 Ha over 52 villages. Wine makers partners cover hundreds Ha. They daily work actively in order to produce the best for their brand, Champagne Esterlin. At present, 8.4 ha are organic or in conversion to organic, and nearly 50% of the surfaces are certified “VDC” (Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne) and/or “HVE” (High Environmental Value). Moreover, the singularity of our structure is that Esterlin exploits and manages 12 hectares of vineyard, of which 7.5 ha are owned, fully certified in sustainable viticulture. All those ‚Äúterroirs‚Äù lying on Champagne clay and limestone soils, give the opportunity to get a great range of colors and make a great wine assemblage.
