This 2018 Eau de Vie from Capreolus is made using greengage plums, which you don’t see nearly enough of these days, we reckon. These handsome rascals are hand-picked, hand-cleaned, then gently crushed to avoid breaking the stones and releasing its bitter almond oil. A complex and balanced eau de vie.
Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: The palate is an explosion of flavors and the finish is nice.
Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
