An exceptionally impressive Apple Eau de Vie from Capreolus, made with 1,000 different varieties of apple! To be honest, we didn’t know that many even existed. What’s more, the apples have been sourced just 11 miles from the distillery, and the orchard only contains 1,000 trees, one tree of each variety. Talk about diversity. Additionally, ¬£5 from every bottle sold will go to support The Prince‚Äôs Countryside Fund, which aims to improve the quality of rural life in Britain. Only 955 bottles have been produced.
Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.
Finish: Quite rich and lovely smooth texture.
