One of three releases from Camus shining a light on Ile de R√©, an island just off the shore of western France near La Rochelle that’s within Bois Ordinaires. Matured initially in a damp cellar on Ile de R√©, the eaux-de-vie is transported to the mainland and given a second maturation in old barrels.
Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
