1988 was a good year. We saw Tom Hanks star in Big as well as the release of, arguably, one of the best feature length animated films ever made; The Land Before Time. Whilst all that excitement was going on, the folks at Busnel were busy distilling this Calvados! Rested in oak and selected for bottling by the expert cellar master, this will make a fabulous after dinner sipper. Of course, it would also be ideal for anyone wishing to commemorate the wonderful year that ‘88 was.
Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
