Burnett’s Virgin Island Spiced Rum Tasting Notes

Nose: The overly sweet aroma of vanillin combats the spice notes.

Palate: Anise is clearly detected but little else. The first sip delivers a raw alcohol entry with a bite of ginger, strong pop of anise, flattening out with backing spices and vanillin transitioning into a harsh bitter chemical finish.

Finish: Clean and balanced.
