A rather interesting expression from Boulard, made with Calvados that has been initially aged in French oak casks before enjoying a second maturation in casks used for bourbon and rye! A tremendous effort, bringing the spiciness and vanilla richness of those American whiskeys to the bold French apple brandy. Ought to make for an incredible postprandial sip.

Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.
