Situated in the village of Saint-Preuil in the Charente, Daniel Bouju Cognac is a family-run company dating back to 1805. Aged for a remarkable 35 years in both new and seasoned oak barrels, ‘Extra’ is characterized by its prolonged, spicy, elegant, and intricate profile.

Nose: Great elegance and charm on the nose.
Palate: Intense notes of sweet and dried fruit, figs, chocolate, tobacco, cedarwood, and roasted coffee.
Finish: The finish is quite unique, rich and long lasting.

“Our winery is located in the very heart of Grande Champagne, Premier Cru de Cognac producing eaux-de-vie of great finesse, marked by a lot of distinction and length and with a predominantly floral bouquet. These eaux-de-vie require a long aging in oak barrels to acquire their full maturity. Only eaux-de-vie from this cru can benefit from the Appellation Contrôlée “Cognac Grande Champagne” or “Cognac Grande Fine Champagne”
