To make its OC Orange Vodka, the Blinking Owl Distillery in California macerate hand-cut Valencia oranges in its wheat-based vodka overnight, and then redistil it with yet more oranges in the vapour basket of the still. The result is packed full of juicy, zesty, citrusy notes – but a clear spirit, meaning it’s perfect for cocktails!
Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.
Finish: Rich and smooth.
