Are you ready to rock? No…? Well, instead, are you ready to get your hands on some tasty whisky bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company? That’s more like it! This is the second batch of Blended Malt #3, a ‘teaspooned’ whisky (meaning it was made almost entirely with whisky from one distillery, along with a tiny drop of whisky from another) which is 21 years old. We’re pretty sure this isn’t a reference to the band called Spoon, but you can never be sure… Batch 2 is a release of 1,323 bottles. ‚ÄòThat Boutique-y Whisky Company‚Äô bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Nose: Full-bodied aroma.
Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.
Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
