Big Peat 27yo Black : The final part of Douglas Laing’s Big Peat Vintage Trilogy has arrived in the shape of this 27 year old expression, dubbed The Black Edition. As ever, this Big Peat is built from Islay single malts, though all of the whiskies in The Black Edition have matured for at least 27 years. It’s a big finish indeed for the Vintage Trilogy following the impressive Gold and Platinum expressions!
Nose: Full-bodied aroma.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.
Finish: Rich and smooth.
