From the delightful Darkness range comes a 13 year old single produced by the brilliant Benrinnes Distillery! As with the rest of the Darkness bottlings, whisky whisky enjoyed a finishing period in an sherry octave cask (this one was a Pedro Ximénez sherry octave, to be specific), to impart a good helping of sherried notes.
Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.
Finish: Quite rich and lovely smooth texture.
