Made by Oaxacan native Efrain Nolasco who came to the USA in 1987, worked his way up as a construction worker, and decided that, after living the American dream, it was time to go back to his town of San Juan del Rio and give something back. In 2000, he joined together with a group of indigenous people to create a high quality mezcal that could be exported to the United States. In 2006, he became certified organic to help distinguish the purity of his mezcals from other products. This exceptional Tobala exemplifies this rare agave varietal perfectly and at a much better price than some of the competition.
Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: Clean,crisp and smooth.
