Made by Oaxacan native Efrain Nolasco who came to the USA in 1987, worked his way up as a construction worker, and decided that, after living the American dream, it was time to go back to his town of San Juan del Rio and give something back. In 2000, he joined together with a group of indigenous people to create a high quality mezcal that could be exported to the United States. In 2006, he became certified organic to help distinguish the purity of his mezcals from other products. This exceptional Reposado exemplifies this rare agave varietal perfectly and at a much better price than some of the competition.
Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: The palate is an explosion of flavors and the finish is nice.
Finish: Quite rich and lovely smooth texture.
The Nolasco Familia is in Oaxaca, Mexico and makers of 100% certified organic mezcal.
