From Bayou Rum comes this solera-aged expression, which is inspired by and aims to capture the liveliness of Louisiana’s Mardi Gras celebrations (hence the name). It’s distilled from single estate Louisiana-grown sugar cane. After ageing in bourbon barrels, a portion of the rum was finished in sherry casks, adding a fruity zip to the spirit.
Nose: Full-bodied aroma.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: Perfect, long lasting finish.
