Balcones Texas Rye :
Released in celebration of the distillery’s 10th anniversary, this expression from Balcones is made from 100% rye, with the mashbill containing 80% raw elbon grain from north and northwest Texas as well as crystal, chocolate, and roasted rye varieties. It’s allowed to age in new charred American oak barrels and bottled at 100 proof. A wonderfully chocolatey rye.
Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.
Finish: Perfect, long lasting finish.
