Balam Tuxca del Llano is produced in Sierra Tuxcacuersco, Jalisco using agave Angustifolia. While Angustifolia is commonly used in mezcal production in Oaxaca, where most agave Angustifolia is referred to as Espadin, the Angustifolia from Jalisco smells, tastes, and feels quite different.
