Superb XO Cognac from Bache Gabrielsen, bringing together eaux-de-vie from three of Cognac’s growing regions – specifically Fins Bois, Petite Champagne and Grande Champagne. It’s got an enjoyably fancy bottles too, which is always a treat.
Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.
Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
