Awamori has been produced in Okinawa since at least the 15th century. Originally introduced by Thai traders, Awamori is still made using imported Indica long rice from Thailand. This particular Awamori Tsunaga is a 57 year old awamori presented in an original wooden box.
Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: Rich and smooth.
