Aultmore 13yo 2005 G&M : This indie Aultmore was distilled in 2005, and matured in a single refill bourbon barrel for over a decade. It was bottled at 13 years old on 1 April 2019, though this whisky is no joke! The barrel yielded 252 bottles at 55.2% ABV for the Connoisseurs Choice series, full of creamy citrus and fruit.
Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: The palate is an explosion of flavors and the finish is nice.
Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
