Augier L’Oceanique Cognac : A coastal Cognac from the wonderful Augier, L’Oceanique is made from Ugni Blanc grapes grown near the Atlantic Ocean on √éle d’Ol√©ron, which is joined to mainland France by a bridge. Once distilled, it spent some time resting in French oak and was then bottled at 40.1% ABV. This intriguing spirit really lets its maritime influences shine through, meaning it pairs very well with seafood.
Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.
Finish: Rich and smooth.
