Auchentoshan 30yo #14568 : A 30 year old Auchentoshan, independently bottled by Douglas Laing for its Xtra Old Particular range (reserved for rather special expressions). This one was distilled back in November 1990 and allowed to mature for three decades in a single refill hogshead. After that lengthy slumber, the whisky was bottled up at 56.2% ABV in December 2020, with a small outturn of only 298 bottles.
Nose: Full-bodied aroma.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.
Finish: Clean,crisp and smooth.
