Angels‚Äô Nectar Original : A blended malt from independent spirits bottlers Highfern (founded by Robert Ransom, formerly of Glenfarclas), crafted from Speyside and Highland malts. It has been inspired by the legend of the angels’ share, which attributes the evaporation of alcohol maturing in casks to some rather greedy angels. Angels’ Nectar is an attempt to re-create what those greedy angels could be enjoying. Sweet with orchard fruits, vanilla and citrus, balanced with Highland heather and spice.
Nose: Full-bodied aroma.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.
Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
