Aberlour Triple Cask : The Triple Cask expression from Aberlour is a whisky you’re more likely to find in mainland Europe, though we’re rather happy that these bottles have made their way to us! As the name suggests, Triple Cask is made with whisky drawn from three varieties of cask – bourbon barrels, bourbon hogsheads and Oloroso sherry casks. Should make for a grand digestif.
Nose: Full-bodied aroma.
Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.
Finish: Perfect, long lasting finish.
