A.H. Riise 1888 Copenhagen Gold Medal Rum is a blended Caribbean rum that has a smooth, buttery, and sweet taste. The rum is light, golden, and clear in color with a bouquet of honey and caramel with hints of vanilla and spice.
Nose: Light aromas of ripe citrus fruits, especially oranges and mandarins, sugar cane syrup and molasses.
Palate: Balanced and creamy in the taste – now more clearly the oranges and the sugar cane, behind it spicy with notes of fresh tobacco leaves.
Finish: Medium length on the finish with a very nice balance of sweetness and spiciness.
