Detailed Description
Tequila 5150 is an attempt at American tequila–or at least as American as legally possible under the legal agreement about the production of tequila, which generally maintain it must be done in Mexico. It is produced by Frank Leal, where it is said that when he revealed his plans for an American tequila to a policeman friend, he was told “You are so 5150!” (which is the police code for a mentally disturbed person). (From the write-up at Josh Spears).
