This rum is made from molasses from the sugar cane and water that comes from the nearby Chagres River. It is then distilled in copper pot stills and aged in oak barrels. The Mezan Panama Single Distillery Rum has a medium body and has notes of vanilla, caramel, and oak.
Nose: Delightful aroma.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: The finish is bright and complex.
