1999 The Dalmore 28 Year Old Stillman’s Dram Highland Single Malt Scotch Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose A timid bouquet of breakfast cereal and marshmallow with very delicate hints of saddle leather and oats.
Palate The palate entry is sweet and malty; at midpalate the flavor displays substantial, sweet tastes of dark caramel, cream and oloroso Sherry.
Finish Finish is very smooth and long.
Distillery Information
In 1839, the Dalmore distillery was founded by Alexander Matheson, a merchant adventurer determined to create an exceptional single malt whisky. In 1867, descendants of Clan Mackenzie took control of the distillery.
