Girvan is a Lowland distillery known for supplying grain whisky for blends. Here, the single grain whisky is given the spotlight, aged 27 years in American oak.
Nose: This is a soft and creamy whisky with an aroma of oatmeal cooked with a cinnamon stick.
Palate: More vanilla and Grape-Nuts cereal flavors extend to the palate with candied orange and a honeyed toffee sweetness offset with some charcoal notes from the barrel.
Finish: Finishes short and sweet.
