A particularly decadent Añejo Tequila from the 1800 range, first released in 2000. This expression is given a lengthy initial maturation in American oak barrels before being transferred over to Cognac casks for a finishing period.

Nose: Delicate and impressive depth on the nose.
Palate: Milk chocolate, vanilla pod earthiness leading to peppery agave, sawdust, cinnamon, caramel and coffee bean.
Finish: The finish is decadently slow with lingering sweet oak.
Distillery Information
1800 Tequila takes its name from the first year the Tequila was aged in oak casks, which was only five years after King Carlos IV lifted the ban on the production of the spirit in Mexico. The brand is owned by Jose Cuervo, and the recipe for the superb sipping Tequila really hasn’t changed for over 200 years.
